A ‘real’ online bookstore August 7, 2008

You probably already know of this, but in case you have not I want to bring this to your attention. Zoomii; an online bookstore. Nothing interesting you might think. You might be right, but pay a visit to their website and you could change your mind. The novelty of this online shop is that you can actually browse the shelves in the search of a book.

It will never be the real thing of course. Handeling a book, feeling the paper, looking at the font. Nothing beats that. This website comes close though. Very close… Click here to visit the website. Below you will find a tour of the shop.

That is such a cool way to buy books online!! Thanks for sharing!

  2. I blogged about this site too last month (Zoomii). And what I wondered is could libraries do this with their collections too? Virtual browsing for books would be great for libraries!

Check out the posts and comments at my blog (post date July 21).
