Bookish china June 4, 2007

Sip tea with Oscar Wilde or eat cereal with Thomas Hardy. The Brithish Library Shop has made china with quotations of the great writers on it. I love that they have kept it simple. White china, black letters. The quotes are in the actcual handwriting of the authors, which gives it an extra nice touch. You can find the china, and more bookish products, here.

How lovely! Isn’t the British library great?

I just saw a site yesterday with a lot of Alice-based jewelry. It is (I’m pretty sure it’s all safe/family friendly, although the name sounds risque). There are pieces with images of Jane Austen and other literary figures represented in really neat jewelry made from domino tiles, bottlecaps, and other creative materials. I think you and your readers would like it 🙂

Thanks for the link! I love her work! Very nice, I would have no problems wearing it. At all. Wait, I am going to write a post about it right now!
