Another ‘looks like a book’ gadget. This one, I have never seen before. Or anything like it. It is a false book to hold CD’s. You can store only eight in them, but it looks kind of fun. The price, as usual, is not. You can learn more about the CD holder here.

You could, if that way inclined, make something very similar to this. Take a book, one you DON’T want to read ever again – it may be necessary to go to the charity / second-hand shop and buy something that looks nice. Mark out CD-sized (+ a bit for the glue) slots on the front cover of your book. Clamp the book together and VERY carefully, using a sharp craft knife or scalpel, cut the slots down to about half way through the depth of the book. Test first slot (hole) for size before moving to the second one (just in case you have to move the rest over a bit). When all slots are complete apply a thin layer of PVA (white glue) to each of the cut edges and to the outside edges of all the pages carefully wiping up the excess glue as you go.
    There you have it.
Sorry it’s a rather scrappy set of instructions but I tend to sort of figure these things out as I’m doing them!

I think the instructions are excellent. Thank you for your very well ‘how-to’.
